APFCT presents the fuel cell scooter application to IPHE

APFCT was invited to present the development of its fuel cell scooter at the recent IPHE committee meeting in Grenoble, France. As part of the workshop entitled “Energy and Transportation Systems – A 2020 Perspective”, we outlined our unique low pressure hydrogen storage and fuel cell scooter application, company core technology and company milestones. The presentation drew significant public attention and triggered a very lively debate.
IPHE (International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy) is an inter-governmental organization in the energy sector, founded by the US Department of Energy and the US Department of Transportation in 2003. Its aims are to promote international cooperation in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell R&D, create guidelines and develop infrastructure. IPHE member countries total 18, including the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Germany, Britain, France and Italy.
Participants in the 1st to 3rd December 2015 meeting included Mineyuki Fukuda, member of the Japanese House of Representatives, officers from the Fuel Cell Technologies Office (US Dept. of Energy), the European Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) and the German National Organization Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NOW).
