APFCT' s Mobile Power Generator is a self-contained fuel cell system. The fuel cell system is started by a 12V battery. The battery maintains a charge throughout the operation of generator. Exchangeable metal hydride hydrogn canisters deliver hydrogen. A blower supplies atmospheric pressure air into the fuel cell. Waste heat from the stack is partially recovered by heating the metal hydride storage canisters to maintain the pressure.
The advantages of fuel cell power generator are its safety, convenience, low noise, and zero-emissions. There is a surprisingly low level of noise when the fuel cell power generator is operating. Pure water and heat are the only byproducts of the fuel cell power generator. The compact size of fuel cell power generator allows it to be moved from one location to another, as needed.
